 Jeff
Bridges Widelux Set Photos
One small
perk to having Jeff Bridges in your movie is that he always brings
his Widelux F8 camera to set, and captures lots of unguarded behind-the
scenes images that you'd never get from your normal set photographer.
Some of you may be familiar with Jeff's photos which are featured
in the book ''Pictures
by Jeff Bridges.'' The Widelux is an unusual camera without
a shutter or viewfinder. It takes panoramic photos, about the same
aspect as a widescreen film. As Bridges explains it, ''Its viewfinder
isn't accurate, and there's no manual focus, so it has an arbitrariness
to it, a capricious quality.'' Says Publisher's Weekly about
the images in Jeff's book: ''Sometimes blurry, and appealingly casual,
these duotone shots fit nicely with Bridges's own persona as a quietly
humorous, understated, and unpretentious actor.''
On this
page you'll find 10 thumbnails of shots taken on the set of ''How
To Lose Friends & Alienate People,'' during the week of July 23
& 30, 2007. All photos are copyright © Jeff Bridges. Photos cannot
be reproduced in any manner without express written permission from
copyright holder.
